A brief history
Our parent company, Voice Commerce Group has been working in payments innovation since 2003. Many of our Cambridge-based team were involved in the early days of e-Commerce working to develop some of the payment systems we take for granted today.
In 2010 the CashFlows brand was created and we became one of the first UK Payments Institutions to be accepted as a Principal Member of both Visa and MasterCard enabling us to offer merchant account services to customers across the European Economic Area (EEA).
In 2012 CashFlows started to issue prepaid cards as part of the core service and as a separate business division of the company.
In 2013 CashFlows gained agency sponsorship to access the UK payment clearing networks through our partner HSBC. This has allowed us to provide our customers with a Business Account to help manage their funds and make lower cost bank payments using their very own sort code and account number, just like any bank.
