It’s been 15 months since I joined Cashflows and I’m immensely proud of everything we’ve already achieved.
We’ve recruited an outstanding team of payments stars to augment an already experienced team, led by an inspirational senior management team (you’ll hear more from them very soon). We’re primed and ready to unleash the power and potential of Cashflows and we’re already taking steps towards delivering on some of our big strategic goals and projects, including auto-boarding for all customers early in 2021.
One of the things that makes us different is our unwavering commitment to solving customer problems. We prioritise the things we know our customers will value most, which keeps us focused, agile and ready to flex our resources - even as the world continues to surprise us.
Customers told us they are frustrated by the speed of funding from other acquirers, so we responded with Anytime Settlement, which enables them to receive their card payment funds whenever they choose - same day or even in just an hour.
They feel undervalued when their only customer service option is digital, which is why we support our customers through a UK based service team, with our own people on hand to answer the phone. The conversations we have every day with our customers help us to understand their challenges and to shape our plans around current and future needs.
We’ve invested in our own proprietary payments platform and gateway and we’re now using this technology to deliver against our omnichannel promise, always acting with agility to create new solutions to new (and old) problems.
Our partnership with Collection Pot, a business which brings digital convenience to group collections for different life events and celebrations, shows how our technology is helping partners to address changes in consumer behaviour.
Payments integrated into apps and software is a huge growth opportunity and we’ve loved collaborating with Goldex, an online marketplace which enables investment into physical gold through an app. We’re proud that Goldex has chosen Cashflows to manage its in-app payments.
A personal passion is to make sure working at Cashflows is rewarding and fun. The year we’ve had has been a lesson in the need for remote teamwork, but in the end we’re a social bunch and we thrive on human interaction and innovation. That’s why we’ve reshaped our business, with a permanent commitment to flexible working for all team members, while creating a fantastic collaboration space to satisfy our need for face-to-face interaction as soon as we’re ready and able.
Despite the rocky road we’ve all travelled on, 2020 delivered impressive double digit growth. As we begin the new year under a new set of restrictions to keep us safe while we live and work, I have absolute confidence in our solutions and our team and I know we’re in great shape to deliver our ambitious plan to double revenue in 2021.
